Return and Cancellation Policy
Tour and Micro-Tour Refund Policy
If you must cancel your trip reservation for any reason, it is your responsibility to notify 718 Cyclery immediately via email
The cancelation policy is written in such a way because I have to lay out on the expenses in advance. If someone cancels close to the trip date, it's hard to fill that spot the closer you get to the leave date due to people's schedules.
Micro-Tour (2 day trip): Cancellation more than 30 days before trip departure: Full payment returned by 718 Outdoors.. This lead time is required because of the insurance commitments that must be made, as well as campsite reservations and logistics. 29 days or less notice, there is no refund. However, if I can fill the spot, you will get refunded.
Micro-Tour (3+4 day trips): Cancellation more than 45 days before trip departure: Full payment returned by 718 Outdoors. This lead-time is required because of the insurance commitments that must be made, as well as campsite reservations and logistics. 44 days or less notice, there is no refund. However, if I can fill the spot, you will get refunded.
Multi-Day Tours (5+ days trip): Cancellation more than 75 days before trip departure: Full payment returned by 718 Outdoors. This lead-time is require because of the insurance commitments that must be made, as well as campsite reservations and logistics. 74 days or less notice, there is no refund. However, if I can fill the spot, you will get refunded.
No refund will be given for the following:
- Participant’s late arrival for a trip
- If a participant chooses to leave a trip for any reason after the trip starts
- Food, services, or overnight lodging for which a participant paid but did not use, once a trip has started
- Disagreeable weather
- Participant unable to make travel arrangements or acquire proper travel documentation.
Further Notes:
- 718 Outdoors reserves the right to cancel or combine trips.
- If a trip is cancelled by 718 Outdoors due to weather or other issues, participants are entitled to a credit for future trip equal to trips cost.
- If a combined trip no longer works for the participant, full refund or credit (up to the participant) will be issued.
- Please allow 1-2 weeks for refund to be processed and returned
- Tour and Micro-Tour Registrations are not Transferrable
Item Return Policy
Returns will be issued as store credit only, and are entirely at the shop's discretion. For returns, we will only consider unused/uninstalled items with original packaging. within 30 days of purchased and with original receipt. Credit card returns are subject to a 3% return fee where applicable. All returns are subject to a re-stocking fee, where applicable.
The following items cannot be returned: Helmets, apparel, shoes, gloves, saddles, and parts that have been installed.
All Special Order Sales and Sales Items Sales are final.
